Once upon a time there was an adorable little butterfly named Bubbles. She was named Bubbles because of the beautiful bubble designs on her wings.

One day, Bubbles saw a beautiful flower, she didn’t want to sit on it because it was so pretty. So she decided to go sit on another flower, but when she went to sit on it she heard a voice, "Hey you, watch out!" Bubbles wondered where that voice was coming from. She looked all around, but saw no one. Again she heard the voice say, "Get off, move it, fly away!" Bubbles asked, "Who is it?" When she finally noticed she was sitting on a talking flower.

Then she left home and told her mother that she sat on a talking flower. Her mother said, "That can’t be, because flowers don’t talk." But this one did, she was sure of it!

The next day she went back to the same flower. She was a bit scared at first because she didn’t know if this flower was friendly or mean. So Bubbles decided to ask her, "Would you like to be my friend?" The flower said, "Flowers and butterflies are not supposed to be friends." Bubbles asked, "Why?" The flower replied, "Because all other butterflies have only been here to stop, rest and drink my nectar, but never once have said, ‘Thank You.’" Bubbles thought about what the flower had said and realized why she had been so grumpy at first. "I’m sorry, you have felt this way," Bubbles said.

Later that day Bubbles went and spoke to her mother to tell her what the flower had said, they told all the other butterflies how flowers had feelings too. They all went back to the flower, to tell her that did not know they had hurt her feelings.

From that day on, Bubbles and the flower became great friends.
