KidVision is television just for kids on WPBT Channel 2! In addition to featuring almost 40 hours of educational programs each week, KidVision goes into the community to produce on-air spots geared towards children ages 1-10. The spots are unique because local children from the Channel 2 viewing area are the "stars." The segments are presented in a fun-to-watch format, and cover topics that are of interest to kids, like how to stay safe and healthy, how to make friends, have fun and succeed in school, and how to get the most out of being a kid!
KidVision works closely with local schools, libraries, summer camps and community organizations to foster learning and encourage self expression.
Sure! Children between the ages of three and ten are eligible to be on KidVision. Have your child write two paragraphs about why he or she wants to be on KidVision. Send this essay, along with a (non-returnable) photo of the child, the child's name, address, phone number, age, and the name of the child's school to:

When you become a "family" member of Channel 2 with a contribution of $60 or more, up to two of your children automatically become members of the KidVision Club for a full year (additional children may join for $5 per child). As a KidVision Club member, each child will receive an age-appropriate birthday package, and will also have his or her name put on the air for two weeks during the child's birthday month.
The entire family will be able to take advantage of discounts at a number of popular South Florida attractions, including Parrot Jungle, the Miami Seaquarium, Butterfly World, the Museum of Discovery and Science, and many more!
